Perseverance is a highly granulating and separating color. It has the same building blocks as Payne’s Grey but has a totally unique appearance. This color can appear both blue and brown depending on the saturating used, where the mass tone is more brown but quickly separated into a warm blue when water is added.

This was the March 2021 Patreon color.

These watercolors are carefully crafted with professional quality pigments and a handmade binder, made out of gum arabic, and honey. We do not use clove oil in our paints.

Note: always swatch your colors before using them on a finished piece, the paper you are using might affect the color or the way the pigment behaves.
