Hedgehog is a somewhat vibrant brown (as far as a brown can truly be bright). It has a subtle granulation which makes it the ideal color to use as fur color for animal portraits or as a mud/earth color in landscapes. It can also be used as a skin tone base for people with a warmer sandy skin color.

These watercolors are carefully crafted with professional quality pigments and a handmade binder, made out of gum arabic, and honey. We do not use clove oil in our paints.

Note: always swatch your colors before using them on a finished piece, the paper you are using might affect the color or the way the pigment behaves
